2. Patience is rewarded

It takes two to three weeks after your first treatment to notice an improvement, and eight to twelve sessions to achieve the desired outcome. You also need to be very consistent with your sessions since your hair follicles are all at different stages of development, and you want to make sure that each one gets zapped.
Laser hair removal truly goes to the heart of the problem, explains Lucy Dawe, Senior Consultant at Pulse Light Clinic. The laser will target hair in the active growing stage. Clients’ hair may seem finer and less visible after one treatment, but a series of treatments is required to get maximum results.
3. Stay from Sun exposure
We will not be able to treat you if you have been exposed to the sun within two weeks of your laser hair removal treatment since the laser will sizzle any color on your skin. This implies you may need to reschedule your appointment if you are burnt or even merely tanned. If you’re a beach babe or surfer dude, you might choose to start your treatments in the winter to minimize any discomfort.
4. Trim or shave the area prior to the laser treatment.

You should shave the region before the laser hair treatment to avoid the unpleasant odor of burnt hair. You should ideally shave the region 24 hours before the operation.
Tweezing, waxing, and plucking hair is not advised. Shaving is all that is needed, and electric razors should be avoided since the hairs they leave are typically excessively long.
In addition, the region should not have been exposed to the sun for four weeks before to the therapy. Other things to avoid in the region include utilizing artificial tanning products.
Finally, laser hair removal cannot be performed on skin that is still covered with lotion, cosmetics, deodorant, or cream. Fortunately, you may remove these substances prior to therapy.
